what am i supposed to say?
well this boy at school asked me to dance with him the other night at the dance, and him and my older sister's dad used to be his neighbor, so they were friends, so ive known him for a long time, just we never really talk, but anyways, so he must like me a little bit since he is dancing with me, and im not like, a nerd so it wasnt a joke, but i just was kind of confused if he really liked me, because he is two grades ahead of me and i dont know you would just have to be in my situation. BUT MY PROBLEM IS THAT: today me and my friends were let out late out of b-ball practice and we were behind the 10th grade class. and he was like, "hey, Kyndra, are you gonna set with me at lunch today?" and smiled, but i couldnt tell if he was serious. how am i supposed to respond to that? because it makes me feel uncomfortable!!

If you liked him then you respond by saying "Sure! where should I meet you?". I'm sure he wouldn't have bothered to ask if he wasn't serious.
