I like this guy...
Hi!! please help me. I am 14 and im not in the popular group (and never really want/ed to be) but i always seem to like the guys in the popular group which is really annoying. Anyway, I like this guy at the start of the year (term one) but then he went away from about a term and i started to like this other guy (who is actually his friend AND one of my friend's friends) but normally these little crushes only last for about a term and this one has lasted nearly THREE! i've only just started to tell people that i like him (including my friend thats his friend) and she wont say anything (and she thinks its "really cute") but i really want to get over him and move on. I am always thinking about him and what he is doing or where he is and i dont want to any more it is driving me INSANE! He is in my class as well so that isnt very good and i found out today that he will be in one of my classes next year as well so i have to get over him fast! I have tried getting all the people that know him to think of all the bad things about him (and one of my friends came up with like 100) and my friend that is friends with him has known him since kindy and she cant think of anything. It is the holidays now so I will try not thinking about him or anything for the whole holidays but that wont do any good. Oh, have i mentioned that it will never work because he doesnt like me. One of my friends thinks i should tell him but i have actually never talked to him except on msn when my friend gave me his msn and i talk to him in small convos but at first he didnt even know who i was! But i still like him. but i dont know what i like ABOUT him. ok im rambling now. Anyway, if you have some advice for me i would REALLY love to hear it!!!

Hey! First of all I am terribly sorry for replying so late! I am currently in University and it was the middle of midterms.. anyways now I'm rambling! Anyways!! I remember when i was 14!! it was only 4 years ago!! but... I liked a guy who did not "notice" me. I am guessing this is your first true crush.. and believe me, there will be many more, darling!! But lets think of the present, right now! I think that you should just be yourself! You seem to be an awesome young lady with a great personality! Just show the guy your brillant personality and your pros. I mean, (and no offence).. but I am guessing he is the same age as you.... anyways, take this from a girl who has been through it!! I just believe that guys take a little longer to mature than us girls do. So I mean he might not notice you right away, but I am sure that in time he will. I also think that you should lay a tad low on telling friends. The only reason I am saying this is because I have seen girls, (my friends) tell other friends and the word gets out publically. I see that you talk to him on msn a lot. I think thats a great start. Maybe see what you guys have in common. Maybe even ask him to a movie if/when the time is right, just you two. All in all, I would just like to wish you good luck and I hope my advice was good. I am again really sorry about the late reply.
