am i a giant or what
ok im 13 and 5'8 1/2 is that to tall?
do you think im done growing yet?
my mom is around 5'5 and my dad is 6'2.
as you can tell im taller than my mom and prety close to my dad.i have a cousin she is 21 and 6'3 and everyone says that im going to be like her.i dont really want to be that tall.

It is somewhat tall for a girl your age ( at least in my school ). I'm 15 and I am only 5'4". But it seems there's other people out there that share the same height as you and are the same age, so you're not alone. Plus, you're only 13 just like your peers, so the body stops developing and growing around 18, so alot of people could catch up with you sooner or later, and you won't seem so tall. You may continue to grow ; this may be it, but it's not for your friends. Trust me, they'll continue to grow over the years. You can't tell how tall you're going to be by one person in your family. You may not get their genetics, especially your cousin. Maybe your mother or father, of course. But usually cousins don't share the same genetics. I hope I helped.

well, i'm also 13 & 5'8. & still growing. dont be ashamed of it. i use it as an advantage. like in track, i am tall so i'm good at highjump and i have longer legs so i run faster. & its easier to play volleyball if yur taller.
being tall is a good thing.

whoa sammeee! im 13 and 5'8" too weiiird. well i hate being this tall so early in life, but you do get a lot of attention by people going WHOA YOUR TALLL. plus guys like that, like i just got home from this party thing, and I got asked out by a really hot guy who was shorter then me. I know it sucks to be tall because most hot guys are like shooortt at this age, but its fun because of the attention especially from guys. you are a girl right? hahhahaha IM SO SO SORRY IF YOUR NOT!!!!! damn that would sucuuuuckkkk! well just know that its not a bad thing and you probly are done growing, and not to worry! its actually quite funnnn. lol!

no i'm the short one in a group of giants!! all of my friends who are also 13 r between 5'6 and 5'9. you might seem tall now, but trust me there are many people (like me) who are jealous of your height!!! and the doctor should probably know if you are close to done growing, but i'm sure you wont be as tall as your cousin. my guess is that you are an earlier bloomer and just had your growth spurt before other people. don't worry, they'll catch up to you, and you'll definitely appreciate your height soon!
