What is the difference beetween putting track peices in your hair and putting extensions in your hair? I've only gotten extensions before, i think at least. I know there has to be some difference, but what?

Moop answered Saturday September 23 2006, 8:32 pm: strangely, I know this one. tracks usually involve gluing the extra hair along lines on your head where it might naturally grow. extensions can be glued, but are usually braided or dreaded into the hair. tracks can also be braided, but the idea is that they're in completely natural places such as the line around the bottom of your head. usually they are also glued if they are braided. currently I'm costuming the show Macbeth and our Macbeth needs to have a combination of tracks and extensions dreaded into his hair so that his head can be easily picked up in a period fashion when he is executed. we're making a fake head cast around his real one for that part of the show.
