the torrent program

i just accidently deleted all the files my brother sent me.. and it took three days for me to get it. Is there anyway to recover these files?? because my friend told me there was no way because the torrent program sweeps clean... please help and respond as soon as possible!!! those files were really important to me.

First, open the recycle bin. If you see the files there, right click and select restore. If not, [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) will provide you will a list of applications that can restore lost files.
