boyfriend?
Ok so in 4 days i will be 14, female by the way. I think at this age it is good to have a bf. My parents say i can have a bf but i cant go out 1 on 1 until im 16. I wanted to know what the best way is to tell ur mom or parents that you have a bf is. Cause im a little nervous. I did ahve a bf last yearbut he was in 8th grade and i was in 7th. I told my sister but never my parents cause it only lasted for about a week and a half. I would ask my sister but she just went to college this year and we havent talked much. A lot of parents have that rule; you can't date until you're 16. My Mom used to tell me that all the time, until I had my first boyfriend. I think once your parents know you're in a relationship and you REALLY like this guy they'll let you stay with him. Don't be nervous about it, relax.
Once you have a boyfriend, just talk to them about it. Explain to them that you really like this guy and tell them all the wonderful things about him. Tell them that he is nice to you, cares about you, treats you right and he respects you, etc. Than, maybe get your parents to meet him one night and see if he is good enough for you. I'm sure if you talk to your parents about this, they'll let you date guys.
