Question Posted Sunday September 10 2006, 10:28 pm
I switched schools last year. And in my new school there is this one group that i think are a lot like me and a lot like all of my old friends. I really want to be friends with them. The only problem is...is that we arent friends...its not like they hate me or anything...we just arent. I talk to them sometimes. I have another group of friends at this school that are really nice...and i'm not trying to ditch them or anything...i just really want to be friends with this one group...what should i do?
and please dont tell me to just not be friends with them
so you have to gradually make conversation with them. get to know them frist you wont become thire best mate over night no matter how much you want it. If you get to know them well enough and it urns out that you guys are soo simmilar and have loads in common GREAT! but first impressions can be misleading these girls might not be all you think. give it a go but remember friendships build gradually not in a few days! :)
but just remember your current friends have been so sweet to make friends with you since your new and all so dont forget to keep in contact with them :)

I don't know who originally said that, but it is profound. Make your current friends your priority...they are the most valuable because they are real, not just potential friends. Then branch out and make new friends all over the place. The silliest thing is to limit yourself to groups or cliques. [ BitsandPieces's advice column | Ask BitsandPieces A Question ]
