pulling away

Question Posted Saturday September 9 2006, 10:04 pm

Hi im 15 and i really like this guy. he is a grade younger than me. so when i hang out with him i don't get nervous or anything but i guess just self concious about like making a move since i'm older. i know he likes me cause i asked him out as a joke and he said yes. i went to the beach with him today in the ocean, and he kept grabbing me and puttting me on his lap. i'm ok with that but my sister was there so it was weird. he would start to pull his hand away from me around my stomah but as soon i put my hand on his he froze and just kept it there. but then i would relize what i was doing and i would pull away. so i guess i am just scared of getting rejected idk what i should do and how i should not pull away.

Dear Pulling Away

This boy must really like you if he is going out with you everyday and you obvisouly like him. So ask him out and he should say yes for sure.

If you do start to go out you shouldnt be pulling away at all, not even infront of your sister.

I understand what your going through mentally. Many people are afrraid of being rejected. But rather then being scared you need to take a chance. Just be careful that he is a good guy. And there is nothing wrong with you asking him out. I say go for it. Tell me what happens

Good Luck
