Chemotherapy

Question Posted Saturday September 2 2006, 6:13 pm

Can anyone tell me anything they know about chemotherapy? Like how it's given to the patient and for how long and when? Any other info would be great also. Thanks

Most chemo is administered intravenously most people start off through doing this as an outpatient. How long is dependent on the type of cancer, how the patient reacts and how well it works in the individual. Some patients lose their hair some don't it tends to make you feel very tired, achy, and overall very crappy including throwing up. This usually only lasts a day or so after recieving the treatment.

Here is a link that will give you more info.
