Talking into AIM

Question Posted Saturday September 2 2006, 6:41 am

I have a Mac. I'm not quite sure what kind, but everything is in the monitor, including a microphone. I know that it works, I just don't know how to apply it to some programs.

One of those programs is AIM. How do you use a microphone in AIM?

A step-by-step procedure would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

OK here goes.

1)When you are chatting with a friend click talk. Tell them to accept and then a little box should appear that says "you are connected"(if your partner accepted)
2)Next take then end of it and put it in the computer in the long, skinny part with a ine going through it. It should be on the right side of your computer(if you have a laptop). However, If you don't have a lap top it is on the moniter.

<><Alli, Hope I helped.
