Question Posted Friday September 1 2006, 8:51 pm
I have a boyfriend. I've been going out with him for over a month now. My mom wont allow me to date until I'm 16 and I'm only 14. It's hard to see him because of this and its a strain on our relationship. I need help. I dont really get along with my mom so I know that if I tell her she wont let me ever see him again. Plz help me.

-go to the movies
-go to HIS house, but tells her parents shes going to her other friend's house cause she lives near him
-any parties there are .. they both go (sometimes their not invited, so i dont like that one lol)

But just have him be nice to your mom and everything and leave a good impression on her. And maybe if she grows to like him alot, then you can ask her,"Well, you've met him. Do you think we could date? Because he asked me out awhile ago, but I didn't know what to say because I know how you feel about me and dating." The only other option I can really think of is breaking up with him, which I already know you don't want to do obviously, so it's out of the question. I hope I helped.
