Elcee answered Friday September 1 2006, 8:17 am:
Tell him the truth that you have recently had doubts about going ahead with having sex. Tell him you need more time to consider the implications of taking such a huge step. Reassure him that you still find him very attractive but you are not so sure of taking the next step just yet.

If he is genuinely in love with you he will respect your wishes. He will want to make sure you feel safe and secure in his love for you.

However, be prepared for the fact that all he really wanted to do was get another notch on his bedpost. He may say all the right things and still pressurise you into going to bed with him. If he does that, give him the big elbow. You can do without guys that are just out for what they can get.

I hope that it all works out okay for you and if I can be of any more help please let me know.
