text plan

ok. i have verizon wireless. and the text plan where its 10$ andi get unlimited to verizons and 500 to others.
now my phone came with aol.
and my friends say that it counts as texts. but i have the text plan like i listed above. so is it free then?? or is it still that 10 cents? because when i first open it it says "sending too many ims? call up and get the text plan.."
so im not sure...
do any of you know???

i think you mean IM?? well, IMs aren't the same as texts for verizon. they cost 10 cents per message. if you have any other questions, you can call up verizon or check online at the FAQ section of the website.
