You should try taking voice lessons from a professional singer. There are mechanics to singing and producing a good sound that you simply can't teach yourself. I took voice lessons for half a year and my voice improved drastically: I can now sing high notes, sing loudly, and produce a good sound. You can also join a choir (either one at school, church, or anywhere you can find one).

Whatever you decide to do, make sure that it's something you have fun doing. There's no point in it if you don't enjoy it! ;)

oh well thats easy. try different types of singing. drink water before you do. and there are actual singing classes you can take. join chorus or a local church's choir. but, take a look in the yellow pages for a local studio where they train singers and whatnot! i have one down the road from me.
