getting over a boy

Question Posted Thursday August 17 2006, 11:27 pm

i still remember the realitionship.. it was great. it was everything i had hoped for.. i got my first kiss and i felt like i was flying above clouds and stuff. then it ended like out of no where. this was a few months ago. we have remained friends.. and sometimes i wish i could go back and be with him. he was the only time in my life i was ever truely happy. i still get butterflies for guys but they are nothing to the ones i got with him. any advice on how to maybe get passed the past?

Please refrain from posting twice (it's an act of impatience) and I've got all the time in the world to answer these! ;)

He was the only time in your life that you were ever truly, actually, happy? C'mon - you don't actually mean that, do you? Because, if you do, I guess you put a whole new meaning to the saying, 'You don't need a guy to make you'! ;)
If I were you, I would cling onto the relationship that you have with your ex-boyfriend. Sometimes, friendships are better than relationships!
Absorb yourself in your friends, and sports that you play - stuff that makes you happy! It'll help you eventually forget about the relationship you once had. After all, some things just aren't ment to be!
I don't suggest getting a new boyfriend too soon; that'll just remind you of your ex and how much better you liked him! I hope I helped!
