ad aware personal

ijust downloaded the newer version of ad aware professional to ad aware personal.. but wheneever i am running a scan in ad aware personal.. it randomly shuts down by itself? what can i do to make this stop

Reboot your computer.
Start tapping F8 if you don't know the correct
timing to get into the safe mode menu prompt.

When the menu comes up.
Choose 'Safe Mode' (#3)
and press enter.

Click through the message windows (after reading them)
and run adaware from there.

Essentially ad-aware is trying to run and there are too many programs that keep interrupting it.
When you are in safe mode there aren't any programs to interfere. :)
