what age?

i was wondering what age you thought is good to have a boyfriend/girlfriend and what age you think is good to date. You would help me so much. oh and what way is the best way to tell your mom you have a boyfriend? i dont know what to say to my mom if i get a boyfriend.

To be honest with you I didn't let my kids date until they were 16.

They could go out in a group and all that but as far as having a boy come pick my daughter up and take her on a date it was 16. She went to school dances and and all that she just wasn't allowed that "steady" boyfriend thing.

I think it is a good idea because to many girls before that age really shouldn't get stuck dating one guy. They should be getting to know several guys. 13 is not the age for "serious" relationships.

If you have a boyfriend then you just tell your mom about it. Be honest and don't sneak around. Not all moms have an age picked out. If you are under 16 and he is too, you won't really be going
out alone often anyway because he probably doesn't drive.
