my friend is ignoring me and avoiding me all of a sudden

hey. ive been friends with this guy for a while now and aout 2 years ago we went out but things didnt work out but we stayed really good friends. then things started heating up again. but now hes completley ignoring me, if he sees me he makes it a point to not come in contact with me. my friends think i should forget about him all together. but i really like him and he's been my friend forever. what should i do??

Talk to him one on one and find out why he's doing this. But you shouldn't just totally forget about him if you really like him and stuff.
