GUITAR ADVICE PLEASE So I'm starting to learn guitar, does anyone know what contemporary songs I should start learning first? And I say contemporary, because I'd love to get myself pumped with learning guitar with songs I like. Like any songs from good bands I should try learning?

oh I want to learn to play the guitar... Some of the modern songs I want to learn are Broken by Seether, Hello By Evanescence, I Write Sins, Not Tragedies by Panic! At The Disco, and Miss Murder by A Fire Inside. Those are good songs, but they might take a while to learn. Also, Driven Under by Seether might be a good one. I love those songs!
Good Luck!

Well...if you just are starting...
try to play some green day songs,
they are just a few cords each song..
and when you play them you feel smart :]
Like...Insomniac by Greenday is EXTREMELY easy. ]
i've been teaching myself guitar for a few years now. the first two songs i learned were "the middle" by jimmy eat world and "bittersweet" by fuel. any jimmy eat world, fuel, weezer, franz ferdinand, or even jack johnson songs would be good to start out on. good luck! just go through your cds until you find a song that you like, look up the tab, and have fun! ]
well i dont really know much about guitar but my friend started learning last year and one of the first songs she learned was by the white stripes, im not sure what song but i think it was seven nation army. but here is a site with easy song tabs:
