when you wash your hair wash it with your head upside down (bend over and shampoo rinse and condition in that position it adds volume)

Get Pantein Pro-V Conditioner and Shampoo; it makes your hair 30% more thicker. I already have thick hair and it made my hair even MORE thicker. Also, use products from Aquage for straightening. SUch as the straightening ultra gel and shining spray. =] Hope that helped.

You could try and use the shampoos that add more life to your hair by making it bouncier etc, but why not try a bit of hairspray and back combing at the roots? Not too much obviously, but it will make it alot less flat and give a fuller/thicker effect.
