My best friend is deep into drugs and I want to help him get out of it. He has already lost his girlfriend, he is on probation and many people no longer trust him. I want him to see what he is doing to himself and the people who care about him, and how bad it is.

Tell him the truth and try to show him how his actions affect his friends, family, and everyone around him. Try to help him in every way you can. If hes deeply into drugs it might take awhile to get him to the point where hes completely clean so dont expect him to totally stop right after you talk to him. By the way you are a great friend for trying to help him in this situation. It shows that you truely care for him. [ mzalyssa's advice column | Ask mzalyssa A Question ]
