PunkieFreak4690 answered Monday July 31 2006, 4:06 am: Go up to someone and start up a conversation. Just as simple as "hello" or "wow, the weather seems nice today, what do you think?".. something like that. Also try to speak to one person at a time, and then gradually increase the number of people to talk to. Like 1 or 2 at first, and later on maybe a small group of people. Just making simple conversations. You could ask how they are doing, or how is their day, stuff like that. And even common subjects such as school, boys, life in general and so on. Don't be afraid to start up a conversation. I know it's hard at first believe me. I once was so shy I couldn't get myself to talk to somsone. But believe me, you'll get around soon. It just takes time. [ PunkieFreak4690's advice column | Ask PunkieFreak4690 A Question ]
Hottopicbabe116 answered Monday July 31 2006, 4:02 am: The top 5 subjects to break the ice are:
1. BOYS!!! talk about what kind of boys you like, mabey your past relationships or even a relationship you are currently in.
2. Shopping! Your favorite stores, and the type of clothes you LUV to wear. Shopping is really a girls best friend ya know
3. Plans for the Future. Like your life you plan to have (ex., type of car u with to have, how many kids you want, were you would live, etc...)
4. School. The New School Year is coming and you could talk about what you expect will happend in the next year.
5. You will not need 5, because after you talk about 1-4, you will already have some chatting going on! These are my favorite subjects, and i met my best friend by using them...We have been friends for 7 years now.
