Hi I have been swimming for exercise and ive lost a little weight but i really want to shed those "extra pounds" ya know? I want to go on a diet also but i dont know what to eat or a good diet to go on...i want to go on a healthy diet but still lose the weight i want.any help would be appreciated because im very determined.

Well, first off..never skip meals. Especially breakfast, I go to a nutrisionist and she says it's the most important meal of the day! (It boosts your metabolism!)

For breakfast, try an apple/some fruit & a yogurt. Or a cup of cereal, and a cup of milk.

Then have a mid morning snack, which could be pretzels, fruit, yogurt, etc.

For Lunch you could have a grilled chicken sandwich on wheat bread.

Mid afternoon snack, 1/2 cup of goldfish, fruit, yogurt, pretzels, etc.

Dinner, depends on if your mom makes it, or you're going to be sticking to your own plan.

Anyway, it's important to eat every 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Just try to fit in light snacks, and you should be fine.
