Mints and Chocolate are just two of the things that are well known for triggering the sneeze factor. Unfortunately, no one is clear yet as to the reason. However, it does not seem to be due to the content of either. There is a huge range of things that cause people to sneeze, sunlight being one of them.
I would doubt that it is an allergy, as the symptoms would be a lot worse, swelling of the mouth and throat, a rash etc. If you can cope with the sneezing, go ahead and enjoy them.
Hope that helps.

I'm no doctor, but I dont think it's either that are making you sneeze.
If you were allergic to the candy, then there would be some sort of other reaction that would occur. As in:
stomach pain, hives, red skin...etc.
sneezing is usually caused by inhaling some sort of allergent into your nose.
