Question Posted Thursday July 6 2006, 8:38 pm

I'm 16f, and i've been having sex with my boyfriend for the past year or so (maybe a little bit longer) I feel like i'm being a bad child, by not telling my mom. But i really think it would be awkward if i told her. What do you think i should do?

You for one shouldnt feel like a bad child, as long as your doing it safely, but you could do it even safer. If you did tell your mom, she could take you to the doctors & get you on birth control & stuff like that. I dont know however how your mom would feel about you doing, but i dont think many moms would be too upset i mean your 16. Just i wouldnt add that you've already been doing it for a year, maybe. Let her first know that you are, and if she doesnt get mad then yeah me honest with her. So yeah i would tell her. & just say you thought she should know.. hopefully that helps :]
