Curling iorn

I have a curling iorn and every time i try to curl my hair it makes my hair lumy instead of making it curly...Dose anyone have any ideas on what i should do to make my hair curly?Or why the iorn is doing that?or what should i do with the iorn to make it curly?

well after you curl it you should put moose in it.. some of my friends do that so that might help!! i hope i helped!!! bye
