My first real boyfriend of 2 years broke up w/ me about a month and a half ago and I am still very upset about it. At first he told me he was breaking up with me because I was possesive and jealous and then he told me it was because he wanted to be single. Two weeks later I found out that he started dating another girl who lives 3 hours away and is 2 years younger then him. He is 17 and she is 15. A few days later they already started telling each other they love each other and they only met the weekend before we broke up. I wanted to be friends but he told me he wanted nothing to do with me. I stopped calling him but everytime I see him I still get upset. What should I do? Do you think he will ever realize he made a mistake? Why does he act like he doesnt care about me?

Tell him you want to go for a walk or something one day, because you really need to talk to him. Tell him you are still hurt about the break up, and that it's hard for you to not even have anything to do with each other anymore (or something along those lines, since I don't know exactly how you feel). Just be honest with him. You could also ask him when you talk to him if he realizes he made a mistake. I don't know exactly why he doesn't act like he doesn't care about you. He might be scared or mad or something, but like I said before, I don't know exactly why. And a tip, try not to be too clingy, it annoys guys. It sounds to me that there is a missing part of this story. Whatever you do, be honest to yourself and him. I hope I helped. :] [ dancindanger's advice column | Ask dancindanger A Question ]
