don't like him
Before school let out, I liked this kid, let's call him steve. We both liked eachother, and he still likes me, but I don't like him anymore. He's really sweet and nice, but I don't see him much and I like someone else. So, tonight I am going to a party and he is going to be there and he thinks I like him, but I don't. Should I act like I like him just for tonight, and then tell him I don't tomorrow, or tell him today, before the party?

You should tell him before the party that you don't like him but you still want to be friends with him and dance and hangout with him.If you pretend you do like him it might send him the wrong message and hurt his feelings when he finds out you don't like him. You make Steve sound like a nice guy so he will understand.Hope it turns out o.k.!

You should be honest with him and explain to him that you don't like him. Let him know that you do just want to be friends. Because by leting him think you like him will send him the wrong message and possibly hurt him. If I were you I would tell him before the party and explain that you would still like to dance with him and hang out with him but just as friends and nothing more.
