17/f
There's this guy at my work that i really really like. He is 17 as well. He may have a girlfriend too. I'm not sure. He's a little shy but for the most part outgoing. He's cute sweet and funny. Perfect. we have been friends at work for 7 months, since he started there. I gave him my e-mail address exactly 2 weeks ago. I haven't seen him at work since. He hasn't e-mailed me eithor, or added me on MSN. I was just wondering, we flirt alot ALOT at work, but because he didn't e-mail me or anything, does that mean he isn't interested? and how can i find out if he has a girlfriend without having a co-worker ask him or me having to ask him directly, so he doesn't know that i like him that way. Also, should i make a move on him, or just wait and let time decide?
Thanks.........

The truth is, is you can't really find out if he actually has a girlfriend or not. The only way you could do that is if you asked him. But some how I don't think it's a good idea yet to do so. You could however the next time you see him, say hi and start a conversation then you could say something like "Hey, would you like to go for some lunch sometime" or if your old enough you could catch a drink with him down at the pub. The pub can be quite a homely sort of place, were you can have a drink and what have you. But personally I would invite him to a restaurant or something along these lines. Me personally from an expert point of view would go for a meal with him then ask him over at your house for some coffee or whatever. I strongly advice you 2 don't drink alcohol. If you drink too much alcohol on the first date and get drunk then things could get out of hand. But yes, do ask him out and see what the answer is. After a while if he doesn't show much interest then he mustn't be interested. Then I would advise that you move on. Hope things go well. Daniel. [ jumadel's advice column | Ask jumadel A Question ]
