No period and not pregnant

I haven't had my period for about 4 or 5 months!!But i'm not pregnant so why havent I had my period?Some say it's cause my weight but why is it?

it would be easier for me to help you if i knew your age and weight. if you're in your teens then your period is going to be irregular. you're not the only one who this has happened to. if you're light weight or underweight then that also slows down your period and im not sure why this is. just dont worry about it. i've known people that have gone almost a year without their period. i know you're worrying about it and if you continuously dont get it then try a gynocologist(sp?).
