Question Posted Monday June 19 2006, 3:25 pm

I have a friend, that I'll call "Jake". He's really sweet, and a great friend. He's one of my really close guy friends. Jake and I just met in the third quarter of this year. We're both going to different schools next year because of where we live. I can't stop thinking about him and I think I might be falling for him...help?

You might like him, but then again, you might just be kind of sad that he's leaving. That has happened to me alot too. When someone leaves, I feel that the bond between us is stronger than ever, but I think that's just how things work out when someone you really like as a friend leaves. The best advice I can give you is just ask him for his email, screenname, or even new phone number. Tell him you're going to miss him alot, but I wouldn't try to start a relationship, since he's moving and all. That way, you can stay in contact with him as friends, but in the meantime, try to meet some new guys too. Hope I helped and sorry if this is late!
