Hello Mable ..
I'm a 17 year old female from Ohio and I really want to become an actress. That's the only thing I can vision myself being. I really don't know how to get started though. One day, I really want to be huge and successful, I want to be in front of the camera and I want to be able to have enough money to give back to my grandparents for everything they've done for me, and I want to be able to help poor people and adopt orphans and stuff like that. I want people to write me fan mail and tell me about their problems and have an influence over them. I just want to be in front of the camera and make really good movies that move people. I don't have a lot of money right now so I don't know how to get started. I know I am pretty enough, but I am also scared and I know I'll be nervous at first when I first start getting into it. Any advice? Thank you so much for reading this

It is so wonderful that you have such strong goals. I once wanted to be an actress, and I could have been one, but I dicided to stay at home and be with my family. Something that is VERY important when starting any career is to have good friends and good teachers. If in your highschool, there is a play, audition! Talk with the person directing it about his or her career. Also, with the internet there are web sites that have auditions that would be in your area. My first audition was when I was in first grade, and I got to go to the audition, because my first acting teacher reffered me. Check the internet for Ohio auditions, and remember to NEVER give up!
