my dad and sumwhat of my mom are really strong about the whole people stealing your idenity thing. they are extra conscienous (idk how to spell that) about it, which is prefectly fine. But i want to ahve a site that i can show my friends pictures. Because i am a major camera whore!! and love pictures, even if im not in them. Well I decided to get photobucket. I have had it for a while now and i found out about a week ago that you can set it to where somebody needs a password to look at the pictures. So did that, and i ahve been giving it to the friends of mine that ask for it. Well one of my friends/neighbors asked for it and was looking at it. and her mom saw some of the pics too, and commented on the dress i was wearing. The thing is her mom is friends with mine and they talk often. IM scared that she might tell my mom about it, but on the other hand im like why should it be a problem its on private and only people with the password can look at it. But i dont know if i should tell my mom now or what. because im not suppose to ahve a site, like myspace or xanga or anyhting like that. So if u could please help me. I wanna find a way where i dont get in trouble. Should i just say i would like to get one and i would set it to make it private?

KELLY_ELIZABETH answered Friday June 16 2006, 11:00 pm: aw, this is a tough situation,. because you were being safe, but also going against what your parents said. if the pictures werent something bad, or like showing or whatever, then you dont have anything to worry about. but if they are bad pictures, like i dont wanna say it but i guess kinda sluty, then maybe you should tell your parents the truth, just to be safe. make sure they know about the whole password thing too. so they know your being safe. photobucket isnt a thing like myspace or xanga, so they shouldnt care if you do tell them. good luck with everything, and if you need more help - then ask !
