Kidney Stone

The doctor thinks my mom has a Kidney Stone.

What is that?
Will she be okay?

maybe her diet isnt good like maybe shes eating to much junk
i think my mom has that problem too
and i think i do too.. im getting a bit personal lol

Its a build up of stuff in her kidneys. It gets hard, like a rock (but smaller usually)and gets passed through your system when you urinate (pee). Sorry, want to make it understandable!

She will be fine. It does hurt though. It is passing through a really small tube. Even a stone as small as a piece of salt can seem like a giant rock!

If she can't pass it because the stone is to large they will break it up with a machine at the hospital. Most of the time though, they are passed at home.

So she will be just fine, but probably have some pain with it. :)
