you hair kind of sounds like mine. what i do is some nights after i take my shower i let my hair dry a little bit then i put some gel in it and i french braid it or have a family member help. then i sleep with the french briads in my hair and let it dry like that. then when i wake up i take them out and my hair is curly, and looks really cute.

MESSY BUN: (this one's SUPER cute!*)
1. Slick your hair back into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic.
2. Divide the ponytail hair in half.
3. Twist one half around itself to make a messy bun. Leaving the ends loose, secure the bun with two or three bobby pins.
4. Twist the other half around the bun you just made in the opposite direction. Leaving the ends loose, secure the piece with two or three bobby pins.

3-PART PULL BACK:
1. Part your hair from ear to ear across the top of your head to create an upside-down U.
2, Divide the the top section of hair into three more sections and secure each with an elastic.
3. Divide the center ponytail hair into two halves.
4. Combine the left section of the center ponytail with the left ponytail and secure them together with an elastic about three inches down from the first elastics.
5. Do the same with the right section of the center ponytail and the right ponytail.

HIGH PONY:
1. Curl your hair with a medium-barrel curling iron. Lightly spray your whole head with hairspray.
2. Hold the top third of your hair up in the air by its ends and lightly back-comb the roots to add volume.
3. Preserving the volume you just created at the front of your hair, pull all of your hair into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic.

Good luck, & Have fun!!**

Look in magazines like Ellegirl, Cosmogirl, or get some celebrity hairstyle magazines. I know there are some american girl books that are all bout hair care, tips, and styling tricks.

Hope I helped you a lot!
