okay, well, i think that you really just need to talk to him alone and be like "i dont know what happened with us, i liked you before you had a girlfriend, i dont know if you knew that or not, but i thought you should know. And i hope it isnt too late and that we could at least be friends right now, because it hurts that we went from being so close to being nothing for no reason"
