does yoga really help you loose weight? and if it does, how? i dont really get how it gets you in shape. thanks. HELPFUL websites would be great too.

You might want to look into Pilates. As far as I know, it focuses on the midsection of the body and tones it up, eliminating fat along the way.

It actually doesn't help you lose weight. What it will do is tone your muscles, and make you more flexible and stronger. Those are good things, and I really reccommend you get into yoga. It also helps with stress and is really fun. However, it won't help you lose weight. You should eat healthy, drink water, powerwalk, and life weights for that.
