Ok I have asked a few questions about this guy before, mark (not real name)and we went out in 6th grade even though he really didnt like my and was just pressured by his firends. He broke it off with me and I struggled getting over him for 2ish years, then this year thinking I was over him I started likeing him again. Anyway he is going to the formal (year end 8th grade dance) with his good firend who is in love with him. The thing his he dosen't like her that way. He flirts with me all the time, and my firends think that he likes me. He has a nick name for me and i just don't know what to think, and I REALLY DON'T want to see him dancing with HER because she loves him and might suduce him. ugh what should I do?

There's really only two things you could do in this situation. You could keep quiet about it and have to go through the torture of seeing him with another girl when you know there is a chance he could be with you. Or you could tell him how you feel. He might still end up with another girl but if he is flirting with you, there's a chance he might like you back.
I know that it's scary to open up to him because he might say no but please trust me on this, it's far worse to go through life wondering what might have been. Tell him how you feel. At least that way, you will know once and for all how he feels and if he doesn't like you after all, you can get on with your life.

the best thing to do is tell him how you feel. you tell advisenators so why not tell him. just ask him or have one of your friends ask him if he likes you again. If he doesnt like that girl like that then dont worry about it. if he starts liking he then it wasnt meant to be. if i was you id hurry up and tell him how you feel. :]
