for finals, how do you avoid overstudying but study enough??

Honestly there isn't such a thing as over studying for such a big test just make sure that you know all of the materials that are needed and you should be set.

Begin studying a good week to week and a half before them. Try studying maybe a half and hour a night, and focus on a different subject each night.

Make flash cards of key points in each chapter and look through previous tests and quizzes you have taken. Try to do the problems you got wrong on them, you can tell if you're ready for the covered materical by if you can do example problems correctly.

15-20 minutes a night with 1 min breaks in between is fine, most teachers say that is fine.
