i am 16 and still not had my period. is this really bad? i dont wanna go to the gyno tho. so what should i do?

If you're 16 && not having your period, is normal. Usually you'll get it when your mom had hers. My mom had hers when she was 14. I had mine when I was 10. So it wasn't a normal cycle until I hit that age. It's not bad, but I would deff. go get check. You know? Just to be on the safe side. The only thing the doctors will tell you, is wait, or ask you if you want to be on the pill. So then you can start having a normal mentral cycle. Reason why people don't get their period, is because they haven't hit PUBERTY yet.

Honestly, the thing you should do, is tell your mom. Then she can call in && make an appointment for you to get check. That's the best && safe way I can think of. I wish you the best of luck!<3
