Ok i dont use Aim very much but my brothers do. So I have a really old version of it like 4.7 and i tryed downlading the latest version and it worked its just that when i tryed to talk to people its like we have encountered a problem we must close AIM. so i have to deinstall it and i end up with the 4.7. So this is what im wondering if I remove the 4.7 and download 5.9 will it work?

most likely, there's no guarantees. I think that you would need to completely delete the 4.7 though.

it depends on what kind of computer u have but usually uninstalling the 4.7 and installing 5.9 would work

Uninstalling it and then reinstalling something usually works.
