Hi, Im 13 years old (14 in June) and i started my period quite awhile ago, but i use tampons and i left one in for longer than suppose and now i think i have TSS. I looked up the symptoms and im really worried. I know they say you should go to a doctor, but imscared. I havent told my mum, im scared. I have a bit of diarrhea, and i feel rather dizzy. Please help me! I dont want to go to a doctor. I dont know what to say to my mum. She will think im being stupid. SO...PLEASE HELP ME!

Here are the symptoms for TSS:
-diarria
-fever
-skin rash
-and dizziness
You may have a chance of having it. Firstly, I think you should tell your mom. If the thinks you're being stupid still go to the doctor or talk about it with the school nurse just in case. Don't be scared or nervous to confront someone about it. If you keep it a secret too long it can get serious. Many girls and women get toxic shock syndrom so don't feel wierd about talking about it. Feel better soon =)
