i'm 12/f and im too scared to ask my mom to shave my legs idk but wenever i wanna ask her im to embarassed to.. and since summer is comming up i wanna wear shorts and capris and stuff but i cant cuz of my hairy legs!! last week we had temps in the 80's and i wore jeans!!!! pleaseee help me, thankssss so much

:/ aw all you can do is ask her. Theres no other way. Sit her down and tell her exactly how you feel. Tell her that you would feel so much better and it would save you from emberessment this summer. If she still says No, then ask her why she decided that you cant. If she says you cant because your too young, then tell her that it doesnt madder how old you are but how much hair you have on your legs, and show her. Also tell her how you feel when you get emberassed. Show emotion, so she can see exactly how you feel about it.
If your friends shave their legs tell her that. Usually it makes parents feel better knowing that their not the only ones who let their kids do certain things. Tell her that you and her together can go to the store and buy a razor and stuff and you'll let her show you how to do it. It might make her feel better if she knows it will be a project you two can do together.
