ok i have 2 questions. well one is that. i have a boyfriend and i really likeh im but the school year is almost over. and ext year were goign to different schools and were gonna not see each other over the summer cuz im always at the beach. what do i do?
and second i started my period in nov. and i still use pads but i wanna swim this summer when im on my period and i try tampons but i struggle. what should i do?

KELLY_ELIZABETH answered Friday May 19 2006, 4:58 pm: for your first question - if your boyfriend really means THAT much to you, then you should/will make time for him. maybe meet up at a park and have a picnic or even hang out at the beach WITH HIM. you can hang outside with him, but not be at the beach. and for your second one - its completely normal for you to struggle with tampons at first. since you started in november- you should knwo how heavy your flow is. go to a local drug store and buy your size in tampons. when your on your period, your vagina walls are wet [ with blood ] so it should be fairly easy to get started with getting it in. it may hurt a little at first, but you get used to it - so dont worry =) theres alwways instructions that come with tampons when you but them [ they may be on the side, or come on a sheet inside the box ]. you can always look on those. or you can ALWAYS ask your mom. i knwo you might get embarressed.. but she can help you. she knows more then you prolly give ehr credit for. and if you dont like those 2 ways - then go to this site [ [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ] and scroll down to "How do you insert a tampon?" . sorry that it shows some pictures - but its helpful and its good if you dont wanna ask her or soemone else. if you have anymore questions - im here =)
