i just started my period monday, and im using tampons. is it normal for them to be a little uncomfertable when you first start using them?

well, everyone suggests that you dont use tampons on your first period. they say this because you need to find out how heavy your flow is, so know the size of your tampon. and sometimes it can take up to a few times [ like 6-12 ] before you know. but since you have already have gone for it - you cant take it back now. it is normal for them to be a little uncomfortable. but not to the point where you are in pain or something. if its bad uncomfort.. then maybe the tampon is too big.. or too small. maybe finish off this time with your period wearing pads to see how heavy your flow actually is. good luck. and if you have anymore qurestions - your welcome to ask me =)
