i really really really like this kid, and he likes me. simple, right? no.
1. i just broke up with my boyfriend last week. someone told him that i broke up with him for the other guy, which i didn't, but i can't go out with this kid right away cause it will seem like i did.
2. he is 2 1/2 years older than me. not a big deal to me, but it is to his mom and my dad. my dad will get over it, but i don't know his mom.
3. he will be leaving for college in august and he's going far away. so we pretty much only have four months.
he said that he likes me enough to make something of it..and something may happen, but he doesn't know if we should try. i agree that we are setting ourselves up to get hurt, but at the same time..why not just go for it?
what do you guys think? what should i do?

I would rather have a boyfriend to spend the best time with him, before he leaves and goes to college.
When he goes off to college, don't just break it up, keep in contact. Talk on the phone, send letters to eachother.
