Ok so there is this guy at my school and I really like him, his name is Andrew. I dont know if he likes me but i really want him to know. How am I supposed to know if he likes me back when he figures it out? My friends were gonna talk to him but they never got a chanc. They were supposed to do it while i was flying out of town for a funeral but he was sick. I <3 him so much I can't stop thinking about him right? Well, i have an enemy and she sits next to him in one of my classes and today she as like staring at him and talking to him and I know he doesn't like her, and i don't know if she likes him and I also dont know if she knows I like him? What should I do about everything?!! i need details!
Vikki27 answered Wednesday May 3 2006, 6:41 pm: You have a choice here. You can sit by and worry about how to tell him you like him and whether or not he likes you while your enemy swoops in for the kill OR you can bite the bullet and get in there first!
Personally, I'd opt for the second choice. Even if he shoots you down, at least you'll have told him and you'll know how he feels, which will be one regret out of your path.
Just sit him down and explain to him that you don't want to make things awkward between you but you really like him and just wanted him to know. This leaves it completely open ended so he can say he likes you, or he can say 'thank you' or h can ask you out.
I would also recommend that you do NOT get your friends to do this on your behalf! Speaking from experience, I can tell you this intimidates guys and that they have more respect for girls that do it themselves. So take a big breath and go for it. [ Vikki27's advice column | Ask Vikki27 A Question ]
