I just broke up with my girlfriend and she has told me numerous times that she wants to get back together. Should I date other people or should I be considerate of her feelings?

It depends. Its your feelings you worry about not hers.
Ask yourself why you broke up. Has anything changed that would make your relationship better?
If not then why go back to it.
If you still care for her enough to want to date her, then of course you do it. If you don't then start dating other people. The sooner she gets used to the idea that its over the better off she will be.
It make take some healing time before you can be "just friends" with her, but it is possible you two can be just friends after some time has passed. If you want that to happen.
The main thing is to do what makes YOU happy.
