computer wont play some quicktime movies

i download 3 movies from lime wire and they wont play in the computer or dvd player. whats wrong

I'm very sorry, as much as I would love to help, I know very little about computers and I asked my boyfriend (he's an I.T Manager) your question, he doesn't know either.

The best thing I can recommend is that you either phone or visit a computer shop and ask them, as they should be able to tell you.
