Should I?
Well I have been going out with this guy for about a year. He is 8 years older than me which is illegal, but I love him to death. We have never had sex and I dont plan to until we get married and he respects that and is all for waiting. He lives 2 hrs away and gas is so expensive now that I barely get to see him. Ohh and my parents. My mom knows I talk to him but she doesn't know that anything is going on. I just wish that I could tell her.. should I tell her.? I love him to death and want to marry him I just dont know what to say to the rents. If you have any advice please tell me.

my answer is while you're telling your mom take it slow so she wont think you guys are secretely enganged or having sex or anything. You need to tell your parents that you really love him and you're sure that he loves not matterwhat the age difference and you just have to hope your pearents understands that

Well i don't know how old you are, but technically it's not illegal unless you guys are having sex, unless you're way young but anyways. If you love him, don't be afraid. Just be honest with your mom and do it the right way. If she finds out later on she might be mad at you for not telling and it could make things worse between all of you. Don't worry about telling your dad, your mom can do that. Just follow your heart and do what you feel like is right. Good luck!
